"Bell" is the most familiar music to students every day. In this course, students learn to use iPad to arrange music for the campus bell, allowing students to show their creativity and imagination in the creative process to create "Bell Variations". Through the creation of bell variations, the bell is given more imagination in life and learning situations. This course takes "life is beauty, creation is expression" as its core concept, guiding students to:
Starting from familiar life experience: transform the school bell that students hear every day into material for music creation, allowing students to feel the connection between music and life.
Use technological tools to assist creation: Through digital tools such as Garageband, the threshold for music creation is lowered, making it easier for students to realize their creativity.
Encourage diverse creative expressions: Guide students to use variation composition techniques, give free rein to their imagination, and create their own "Bell Variations".
Emphasis on peer interaction and feedback: Through the SEESAW platform, students can share, appreciate and evaluate each other's works, and learn and grow through interaction.
Cultivate students' perception of music and creativity: Using familiar melodies and the chimes of Westminster Abbey, students can integrate music into their lives and use music to generate creative ideas.
