What is aesthetic education doing? What role can it play? What is the face of aesthetic education in Taiwan?

In this video, Wu Xiaoxia, Director of the Department of Teacher Training and Art Education of the Ministry of Education, talks about the concepts and views of the "Medium and Long-term Plan for Aesthetic Education"; Professor Zhao Huiling, host of the Cross-disciplinary Aesthetic Education Excellence Pilot Project, explains the long-term development of aesthetic education and its support system; Researcher Hong Yongshan from the National Institute of Education’s Curriculum and Teaching Research Center introduced different constructed images of aesthetic education; Professor Lin Shaoren from the Institute of Arts and Humanities Education at the National Taipei University of the Arts shared various forms of aesthetic education; Taiwan Design Institute Team leader Yang Yuting explained the influence of aesthetic environment in education; at the end of the video, each interviewee shared their promotion and prospects of aesthetic education in the era of the epidemic. Through the video introduction, we can understand that aesthetic education is not limited to art, but continues to develop in different forms, subjects, and aspects, and ultimately converges into a long river of development of aesthetic education in Taiwan.
