It is generally accepted that art and mathematics are two subjects with very different styles and essences. However, in daily life we can see that many phenomena contain extremely profound connections between art and mathematics. From the inseparable and complex relationship between mathematics and art, we can see that mathematics is actually a rational art. Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) believed that "...any human research that does not follow the path of mathematical explanation and proof cannot be called science." His sculptures, paintings and architectural designs reveal his in-depth study of golden rectangles, proportions, projective geometry, geometric structures and symmetrical figures. Art originates from life and is integrated into life, and mathematics, which is ubiquitous in life, is the best tool for solving problems. We hope to provide students with opportunities to explore the living environment through the curriculum planning of cross-field aesthetic education, with life as the center and humanistic qualities as the core content, and lead students to understand the world of art through the language of mathematics.
