# interviews with selected cross-field aesthetic education courses
"I think what surprised me the most was the math class. Because through some of the questions and the content of the course, I can also use these skills in the subsequent visual arts class to draw many symmetrical and beautiful figures."
"My favorite class is the drink mixing class, because the teacher will let us know some new and different equipment for mixing drinks. Then we can also use the density lessons we have taken before to make gradient drinks. Or some drinks that look good and taste good, and then everyone has a good time.”
The cross-domain aesthetic lesson plan of Kaohsiung City Yangming Junior High School starts from the most common dining table, and combines the visual art class of food and color, the physics and chemistry class of science in beverages, and the number-shape relationship of mathematics class to form a multi-faceted Table view.
"We prepare together at the beginning of the course, and then gradually get the direction."
Mathematics class happens to teach "arithmetical series", so the teacher combines this concept with the vision of "Islamic totems" to guide students to create a variety of beautiful patterns. In the physics and chemistry course "Relationships between Acid and Base, Temperature, Concentration and Density", the teacher believes that there are many possibilities for beauty. Many chemical changes, such as discoloration, bubbles, and precipitation, actually look beautiful. In such course activities, students' knowledge is no longer fragmented, and the final results of the course are also presented in a "micro party at the dining table" to share what they have learned in the course with their families. The so-called beauty is not necessarily the beauty in visual form, but also includes the beautiful memories and emotions in life!
"I believe that this process, this whole process, is also very wonderful for them! It is a wonderful process, a different vision of the course, and a different scenery of the course. So this is the reason that always stimulates me to continue doing it. .
