Our school is uniquely located next to Zhongzheng Park in Keelung City and enjoys a rich natural ecological environment. The campus is surrounded by green hills, undulating according to the situation, taking in the beauty of the mountains and seas, and being shaded by the park. There are many wild and planted flowers and trees on the campus. When teachers and students of our school come to the school, they feel like they are in a natural field. Perhaps students have become too accustomed to such an environment. Even in such an environment, they rarely stop to observe and appreciate the details of the school's rich natural environment. The "Planting in My Heart" course will focus on common plants on campus, using plants on campus as creative media to feel the rich vitality of plants. Teachers and students will observe plants in a microscopic way, see how they grow, and explore The pattern of its life. By restoring the true appearance of plants through observation and practice, we can get closer to the essence of life, and feel calm both physically and mentally. The course particularly emphasizes the importance of "natural observation intelligence". In 1995, "natural observation intelligence" was listed as the eighth intelligence in the expression of human intelligence by Harvard University professor Howard Gardner, which is the ability to keenly observe the natural environment. Students get inspiration for artistic creation from the plants on campus. The works are expressed in the form of cyanotype and embroidery. Through cross-field learning, they understand the chemical principles of cyanotype and become familiar with the stitches and tools used in embroidery.
