The white walls of the campus are quite monotonous. We want students to use their imagination and creativity to design local patterns and aesthetic colors to solve this problem, making the school environment more dynamic and giving students a greater sense of participation and identification with the school. The theme of the course is "Exhibiting splendor on the battlefield, counting horses leaping over Ningyuan", and the content includes mathematics, visual arts, information, comprehensive fields and local courses. Kinmen has a unique war history, architectural features, ecological landscape and overseas Chinese culture that are different from Taiwan. After students are familiar with and understand the local culture and characteristics of Kinmen, they design patterns with local characteristics, and then use computer software to draw them. Using the concepts of ratio, proportion, parallelism and coordinates in mathematics, we cut Kadian West German paper and collaged Kinmen-specific images of wind lions, hoopoe and chariots on the white tiles of the campus, which not only activated the campus space , and also give students a greater sense of identity with their hometown and school.
