Based on the local indigenous (paper) shadow play culture, we develop school-specific courses and conduct collaborative art teaching with art experts who are deeply involved in local culture. The school’s characteristic courses are integrated into international issues such as environmental protection, ecology or marine resources, etc. Teachers guide students to learn and conduct cross-field teaching activities. Once our students have the opportunity to perform the learning results of the course externally, such as participating in community exchanges or performing in a nursing center, they can improve their sense of academic achievement and recognition of traditional culture; and promote traditional folk culture through leather (paper) shadow play performances. It is hoped that children can use traditional opera culture as the basis and start from a local perspective to present the new creative sparks of this generation of children.
