Strengthen diversified aesthetic experiences through overseas training visits and expand teachers’ international vision and humanistic qualities; through class observation and exchanges in international aesthetic education and professional dialogue with local education personnel, teachers can keep pace with international education trends; through foreign teaching media Collect and empower teachers, strengthen teachers' teaching ability, and further stimulate students' learning motivation.
Teachers' overseas training visits can absorb the educational experience advantages and diverse cultures of various countries, so as to integrate the curriculum development spirit of the 12-year National Basic Education and promote the diversified outlook of the country's education. After returning to China, teachers openly share their visit experience or open classes to spread the benefits of international exchanges, enhance teachers' international vision, and then guide students to develop various interactive abilities, unleash their motivation and enthusiasm for spontaneous and active learning, and deepen their core competencies.
Project goals
1. Enhance teaching connotation
By actually participating in class observation and teaching activities in foreign primary and secondary schools, we observe the interaction patterns between teachers and students in various countries’ educational sites, conduct experience exchanges and dialogues with professional education practitioners, and integrate the educational characteristics of various countries, so as to strengthen the teaching abilities of visiting teachers.
2. Enrich international perspective
Through visits to foreign neighborhoods, we can learn about diverse cultures and experience their civic aesthetics. We can also observe how countries implement beauty in daily life and understand the trends in international aesthetic practices, so as to achieve the goal of broadening the international horizons of visiting teachers.
3. Strengthen aesthetic literacy
By visiting foreign art and cultural institutions, students can experience different spatial aesthetics and experience various artistic aspects. They also hope to absorb the educational connotation of STEAM and THEMAS by visiting foreign art cross-disciplinary cases, so as to help the visiting teachers improve their aesthetic literacy and be able to apply it. Cultivate the aesthetic literacy of all people at the teaching site.
4. Promotion and exchange of experience
By sharing feedback on the experiences and insights of visiting teachers after returning home, we promote their exotic aesthetic experiences to Chinese education professionals, thereby spreading the benefits of the visits and conveying the importance of aesthetic education to the national education scene.
5. Implement aesthetic education
Through overseas on-site visits, we observe the presentation of aesthetic creation in local neighborhoods, classrooms, campuses or art and cultural institutions, and explore the possibility of implementing innovative aesthetics in classrooms and teaching sites, creating new thinking about aesthetics for visiting teachers.
